Creamy Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad
Every cookout has that one bowl people keep wandering back to. Around here, it’s usually this creamy bacon ranch pasta salad.
I always tell myself I’ll save some for lunch the next day. It almost never happens.
By the time everyone’s finished eating, the bowl is mostly empty and somebody’s asking if there was another batch hiding in the fridge.
Bacon and ranch were never going to be a bad idea. Toss them with tender pasta, sharp cheddar, and crisp vegetables, and you’ve got something that’s hard to stop picking at.
It’s rich, but the crunchy veggies keep it from feeling too heavy, and every now and then you get that salty bite of bacon that makes you reach for another forkful.
It’s also one of those recipes that gets better after it’s had a little time in the fridge.
The dressing settles in, the flavours come together, and somehow it tastes even better a couple of hours later.
Whether it’s sitting next to burgers at a barbecue, packed up for a picnic, or served alongside a simple weeknight dinner, Creamy Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad has a habit of disappearing long before everything else on the table.
